Terms of Service

With the term “Services” we refer to the features that you interact with on the Pathbuddy Platform and the offerings of the Platform to you as a user, for instance: Path-bots, networking, motivational and informative posts on your feed et cetera.

 Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. To create an account and use the Services, you must affirm that you are 13 years or older. If we become aware that you are under 13 years old (or below the minimum age required to use the Services without parental consent in your state, province, or country, if higher), we will discontinue providing the Services, delete your account, and remove associated data. Certain additional Services may come with specific terms that necessitate an older age for usage, so it is important to carefully review such terms. By utilizing the Services, you assert, guarantee, and agree that:

  • You are forming a binding contract with Pathbuddy.
  • You are not a convicted sex offender.
  • You will comply with these Terms (including any other terms and policies referenced in these Terms, such as the Community Guidelines.
  • You will not reverse engineer, duplicate, decompile, disassemble, or decode the Services (including any underlying idea or algorithm), or otherwise extract the source code of the software of the Service.
  • You will not use any automated means or interface to access the Services or extract other users’ information.
  • You will not use or develop any third-party applications that interact with the Services or other users’ content or information without our written consent.
  • You will not use the Services in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, negatively affect other users from fully enjoying the Services, or that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the functioning of the Services in any manner.
  • You will not upload viruses or other malicious code or otherwise compromise, bypass, or circumvent the security of the Services.
  • You will not attempt to circumvent any content-filtering techniques we employ or attempt to access areas or features of the Services that you are not authorized to access.
  • You will not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our Services or any system or network.
  • You will not violate any applicable law or regulation in connection with your access to or use of the Services.
  • You will not access or use the Services in any way not expressly permitted by these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
  • Our Services are going to evolve over time. We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect these changes or for other reasons.
  • You can stop using the Services or delete your account at any time and for any reason, including if you don’t like any changes to these Terms.
  • We do not guarantee that our Platform, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted.

  • We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to all or any part of our Platform at any time at our sole and absolute discretion. We may also permanently ban or temporarily suspend you from using our Platform if you do not comply with these terms of use, at our sole and absolute discretion.
  • Our Platform is directed to people who intend to study in the United Kingdom. We do not represent that the content available on or through our Platform is appropriate for use or available in other locations.
  • Although, we make reasonable efforts to update the information on our Platform, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on our Platform is accurate, complete or up to date.
  • You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access our Platform. You should use your own virus protection software.
  • You are prohibited from utilising our Platform in the following ways:
  1. Breaching any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
  2. Engaging in unlawful or fraudulent activities or using the Platform for any such purposes.
  3. Involvement in, encouragement of, or endorsement of inappropriate behavior or illegal activities.
  4. Intentionally causing harm or attempting to harm minors.
  5. Sending, knowingly receiving, uploading, downloading, using, or reusing any material that violates the terms of use.
  6. Transmitting or procuring the sending of unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional material, or similar solicitations (spam).
  7. Sharing contact details, including email addresses, phone numbers, social media usernames, or direct messaging details, with another Platform user.
  8. Organizing physical meetings with another Platform user.
  9. Discussing subject matter outside designated areas, which include maximizing academic attainment, university applications, university life, internship/graduate job applications, commercial awareness, career sector insights, and working life.
  10. Having offensive, discriminatory behavior that could bring Pathbuddy into disrepute.
